Stationary Street Outreach
We go out to the streets on the 3rd Sunday of every month to different locations in downtown Birmingham, Alabama from 2:00-4:30. We give away men's and women's clothes, shoes, purses, backpacks, toiletry bags, snacks, and bibles!
The EGOM team is lined up behind the tables, wholeheartedly ready to greet our precious friends with a smile and a compassionate hand to help them gather some items to fill their bags. The door is open for prayer and deeper ministry as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Blessing Drive Bys
We load our ministry van with select items such as sleeping mats, blankets, small tents, t-shirts, new socks and underwear, and other special gifts. We drive through the city and look under the overpasses and bridges, inside the tunnels and tent cities, abandoned buildings, street corners, parks, under trees—anywhere we see a need. We pull over and bless them with our gifts and we pray with them.
